—Web design for Skooler—
In December 2016 we were approached by Skooler to design their new website. The previous website was based of a premium WordPress template and had to much content. We teamed up with Sikt Reklame and developer Mats Mikkel Rummelhoff to create a new site which was more focused on features and customer stories. The new website was launched in record time with Hubspot integration (blog and leads) and was awarded a nomination in CSS Design Awards shortly after launch.
This was our first Craft CMS site and we are very very impressed with this content management software. It really puts content in focus and user friendliness is just out of this world.
We would like to thank Bjørn and Arild at Skooler for a good co-operation throughout the project.
Before starting the re-design process we looked into competitors, broke down the current site and all its content to see if there was something that could be used on the new. Kjetil at Sikt Reklame made some great wireframes of the new site based on what the client needed to see on the rebooted version.
Initially we had some different first designs of the new site, but merging our design perspective with what the client asked for before agreeing upon the final design. Its the subtle animations and call to actions that really makes the new site shine. The new color palette used throughout the site is based of Microsoft which in the end resulted in a bright and contrasted page that complies with WCAG 2.0.
