Søndre Fjellstølen
Sommerseth Design delivers the visual identity and new website for a well-managed cabin area in Sør Aurdal.
A big thank you to Torkel Bergstøl for the project to develop the logo and new website for Søndre Fjellstølen. The work began in the winter/spring of 2019.
The old website was unclear, lacked responsiveness, and was visually outdated. Design and development were done in-house at Sommerseth Design, built on the WordPress platform, and it features easy front-end content editing. It also includes a custom ad module for local service providers to showcase what the area offers in terms of products and services.
Søndre Fjellstølen is a well-managed cabin area with its own Cabin Owners’ Association, Ski Trail Association, and Road Association. The Cabin Owners’ Association is an interest organization that represents the interests of cabin owners in the area. They are members of the Sør Aurdal Cabin Forum and participate in meetings with the local municipality leadership to discuss issues affecting the outdoor area.
