A big thank you to Vidar Østenby and Marker Municipality for the opportunity to deliver a visual identity program, design elements, and a design manual. The challenge the municipality faced was that the existing profile felt outdated, and there was no design manual or clear guidelines regarding the use of the municipal coat of arms, colors, or typography.
Together with the municipality and the project team, we sketched design elements based on core values. Some of the key keywords were: Agriculture, environment, innovation, care, creativity, channel, clean, and fresh.
Marker Municipality wants to meet residents, partners, and suppliers in a recognizable and unified way. Since the visual profile is an important part of the municipality’s identity, it is essential that the profile is visible and clear across all types of materials.
We built on the platform we have developed for other municipalities and companies with a need for a user-friendly and clear design manual. This solution allows employees and users of the design manual to easily access templates, logo versions, fonts, and, most importantly, receive good advice on how to best maintain the profile.
